The world is becoming interconnected as a result of massively growing trade and cultural exchange.
Especially the film industry is changing and offers new opportunities in all departments. An influx of English productions and international co-productions in Europe is looking for new talent and international casts are becoming increasingly important.
KICK-OFF
For over 20 years we have been running screen acting workshops at the , one of the world’s leading film schools.
In 2016, we launched a highly attractive programme with our partner to equip young aspiring actors with the instruments they need to fill this unique and growing niche. The course aims to develop participants’ acting craft in practice and in theory. Experienced professionals from across the globe will host lectures about a range of topics: everything from screen acting, coaching, casting, self marketing and networking, to the globalization of the film industry.
AND ACTION!
The very heart of the course lies in its practical training. Seminar participants will take part in scene work and method-acting preparations with internationally acclaimed acting coaches as well as gathering on-set experience in front of the camera. The footage will then be analysed in depth on the silver screen together with the coaches and professional directors. It’s about body language, expression, emotional honesty, and the flow of movement.
AMBITION
This program offers a well thought-out and balanced combination of practical training and gaining insight through comprehensive theoretical input from experts. The goal: to convey detailed knowledge about marketing and markets, to create awareness, to improve the professional approach and thus to pre-pare the participants for entering the international film industry.
